Wanting to work in wood, but don't have the space or the machinery!
The resource you’ve been waiting for, a woodwork machine shop with its own workbench that you can hire by the day, week or month! Once you have agreed your time allocation, we supply you with a key and it’s yours for the duration of your project on a fixed cost.
The unit is 7.5m by 4.5m in size (350sq feet) and located in a secure, comfortable and friendly business centre with 24 hour access.

The machinery includes a Band-saw, Drill Press, Panel Saw with Sliding Table, Spindle Moulder, and Planer-Thicknesser all linked to dust extraction activated through the stop / start of the woodwork machinery.

Furthermore there is a collection of power tools that can be hired on request

Rent or Hire Cost of the workshop from a day to a month!

1 -5 days £50 per day = 250 per 5 day week

6 -15 days Discounted to £46 per day

16 - 25 Days Discounted to £43 per day

26 and over Discounted to £40 per day

Weekends are available for bookings


Power tools are available for use and may be subject to additional hire charges.

1. Bookings:
i) Bookings can be made for the day, week or month, please check for availability by emailing bookings@hirewoodworkspace.co.uk or by phone on 0207 498 1550.
2. Payments, Deposits and Damage Waiver:
i) All invoice payments to be paid in full and cleared in advance.
ii) A two hundred pound (£200) returnable deposit is required in advance.
iii) A 10% Damage Waiver fee is charged with all bookings.
iv) All invoices are subject to 15% vat.
3. Health and Safety:
i) You will be asked to complete a Risk Assessment Form and confirm your knowledge and ability to use the machinery and equipment involved; this will be part of the handing over process.
ii) You will be asked to confirm you will operate within health and safety guide lines and will wear the relevant protective clothing / equipment i.e. dust masks, goggles, ear defenders (which can be provided) and work boots as required within the machine shop.
4. Insurance:
i) We strongly recommend you have Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurance for your own protection.
5. Hire Agreement and Liability Waiver:
i) A Hire Agreement and Liability Waiver is then signed and you will be provide with a key to the woodwork space and you can work at your own pace and make anything you want.
